DFS, Charlton

This project involved the refurbishment of a DFS retail unit in Charlton, where Tritec Building Contractors acted as subcontractor to deliver roof and cladding improvements. Works included comprehensive repairs and specialist spraying of the elevational cladding, alongside the application of a Giromax roof coating system across the entire roof area. Delivered within a live commercial environment, the project enhanced the building’s appearance and durability, providing a cost-effective, long-term solution while minimising disruption to operations.

The project comprised a full refurbishment of the building envelope, focusing on both performance and aesthetic enhancement. Works included comprehensive repairs to the existing elevational cladding, followed by specialist preparation and spray application to restore a uniform, high-quality finish.

 

Alongside this, approximately 1,600m² of roofing was treated with a Giromax coating system, delivering a seamless, weather-resistant barrier designed to extend the roof’s lifecycle and improve overall durability. The system was applied following meticulous surface preparation, ensuring optimal adhesion and long-term performance.

 

The completed works not only revitalised the building’s external appearance but also provided a cost-effective alternative to full replacement, enhancing protection against the elements while minimising disruption to the client’s operations.
